Rooms at the Centre

Tiny Tots Childcare and Education Centre is divided into five different rooms to ensure the children are with their appropriate age group and stage of development.

Babies 0 to 12 months
Tweenies 1 to 1 ½ years
Tiny Tots 1 ½ to 2 ½ years
Pre-Kindy 2 ½ to 3 years
Kindy-School 3 to 5 years

Children can transition six months earlier to the next room if they are developmentally ready.  These children are given a developmental check and are assessed by a qualified educator and the parent.

Children gradually progress from one age group to another when children, parents and staff feel they are ready for the transition.

School House

Kindy 3 to 5 years
School Children (Before & After School care) 5 to 12 year olds

The school house opens from approximately 7.00am and closes at 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  Children arriving prior to 7.00am should be taken to the main centre to the Tiny Tots room.  A staff member will take them to the school house at 7.00am.

Kindy children will be brought back to the main centre by 5:30pm daily.  They will be taken to the Tiny Tots room.  Their sign-in and sign-out files will move with them.

There is a strict policy that the staff must follow for moving the children between the two buildings.  If it is raining at 5.30pm, the kindy children can stay at the school house with the school children until 6.00pm.  Children not collected by closing time will be taken to the main building.
